| When Satan tempts me to despair, and tells me of the guilt within, upward I look and see Him there Who made an end to all my sin.
Because the sinless Saviour died, my sinful soul is counted free; For God, the Just, is satisfied to look on him and pardon me.
Behold him there! the risen Lamb, my perfect, spotless Righteousness, the great unchangeable I AM, the King of glory and of grace!
One with Himself I cannot die, My soul is purchased by His blood; My life is hid with Christ on high, with Christ, my Savior and my God

| If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.
I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
Psalm 130:3-8

| Here's a question for all y'all folks out there.
What constitutes a call from God to do something?
In other words, what has to happen for you to realize God has placed a call on you to do something specific (besides the general commands of Scripture) and to know that such a call is from God and not from oneself? And why do you answer what you answer?

| So I got to thinking...
...if I go on the Israel/Jordan trip this summer, I could take 13 credits fall semester senior year and have enough credits to graduate a semester early (if I wanted to).
However, those credits would be: Hermeneutics - a lot of work Pentateuch - a lot of work Christian Worldview Integration - workload depends on prof Seminar in Bible - graduation paper/project/presentation and another 3 credit class, perhaps Independent Study in Advanced Greek Grammar
Pros and Cons: Save a lot of money, have some time to work a bit before seminary and try to earn some money, wouldn't get to take certain classes here (though I would be taking comparable ones in seminary), would leave school before my friends, etc.
So what do you think?
Input welcome and encouraged.
